What GasFact is

GasFact is an internal tool operated by its owner to plan, write and publish small content websites. It has one user: the operator. It is not offered to the public and has no visitors' accounts.

Data the app touches

The app does not collect, store or process personal data of third parties. The OAuth tokens it holds are stored as environment variables on the hosting platform, are used only for the calls above, and can be revoked at any time from the Google account's permissions page.

Google user data

GasFact's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Data obtained through Google APIs is used only for the operator's own research and reporting inside the app. The one transfer that happens: keyword texts and their monthly search volumes from Keyword Planner are included in the prompt the app sends to its AI provider (Anthropic) when it drafts the topics and domain ideas of a niche. No Google data is sold, used for advertising, or shared with anyone else.

Retention

Keyword metrics from Keyword Planner are used for up to 30 days after they are fetched and then fetched again. YouTube data older than 30 days is deleted before each explorer run. Wikipedia page-view aggregates and the monthly calibration records (earnings, page views and clicks per site) are kept as long as the operator finds them useful. The operator can delete any of it from the database at any time.
